Description

This surrealistic representation of baseball glove was one of five murals mounted on Royal Athletic Park's fence. These murals were installed as part of the park's revitalization in 2004 to add interest and deter graffiti. 

The artwork's plaque features a quote from the artist, Tom Kendall: "I dream the asymmetric beauty of green grass, blue sky, sunshine on skin, endless summer afternoons in the park."

Tom Kendall

Tom Kendall was born in Saginaw, Michigan, USA, on July 12, 1948. He studied drawing, life drawing, painting and abstraction at Bill Porteous Studio from 1995-1998.
