Ellen Rutt graduated with a BFA from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design and has exhibited work and painted murals in New York, Chicago, Austin and France, among others.

Murals act as backdrops, clothing becomes costume, and shape cut outs become prop pieces in an equally playful and dramatic reflection of human life.
