Hands of Time: Holding a Mirror Description This sculpture reflects the Inner Harbour, which is key to Victoria's history and identity. The text in the reflection says, "I am here." This is a reminder that our present is a result of all that has come before, and is part of all that is yet to come. This sculpture is one of 12 bronze hands placed throughout the city. Each one captures a gesture tied to Victoria’s past or present.

About the artist Przybille earned a fine arts degree (with Distinction) from the University of Victoria. She has participated in artist residency programs in British Columbia, Nunavut, and the Netherlands. She has created several public artworks, including The Father Pandosy Mission 150th Anniversary Commemorative Sculpture, The Hands of Time (the City of Victoria's 150th Anniversary Commemorative Sculpture) and Illuminature (City of Kelowna). Projects include a life sized, bronze figurative sculpture of Chief Sʷknc̓ut (Sookinchute), commissioned by Westbank First Nation.
