Johnny Aitken

Biography

Johnny Aitken (he/him) is a physical actor, scriptwriter, writer, carver, filmmaker, activist and educator. His mixed ancestry includes Coast Salish, Scottish and Haida. Johnny self identifies as a 2Spirit First Nations individual.

Johnny has pivoted into writing and is devoting more of his time to film making. He is currently working on a series of books which he is co-writing with his friend Jess Willows. These books are written for Grade 5 learners and focus on reconciliation and friendship.

Johnny considers himself a cross-cultural bridge builder, a lifetime occupation he takes very seriously with a lot of humour!
