Robert Wise and Christian Giroux

Biography

Robert Wise is a sculptor and designer who has lived in Vicoria his whole life. He has exhibited his sculpture throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, and has completed two large public commissions in Victoria. For over 25 years he has designed and crafted modernist lighting fixtures and furniture in a variety of media, including stained glass, cast bronze, aluminum, stone and wood.

Christian Giroux is an artist, writer, and curator. He taught in the Visual Art Department at the University of Victoria and is now a professor in the School of Fine Art and Music at the University of Guelph.
