Biography

Heather’s practice incorporates various socio-historically laden materials. For the past fifteen years, she has exhibited extensively across Canada and internationally. She is the recipient of numerous prizes and awards, and her work is held in many official public collections. She holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia, Canada.

She holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia (2004) and has exhibited extensively across Canada and internationally for the past fifteen years. Her practice often reconfigures painting, photography and sculpture with socio-historically laden materials. Heather has completed five artist residencies and nine public artworks both locally and abroad. She is the recipient of numerous prizes and awards. Her work is held in many private and official public collections such as the Vancouver Art Gallery.
